National last-mile delivery
We carry the last mile so your brand does not have to explain a late parcel.
Over a thousand drivers across six cities, all employed by us, driving our vans out of our depots. Take one city or take the lot — the service level, the reporting format and the person who answers the phone stay the same.
Six cities · one service standard
Where we run
Every city below is a Wormhole depot with Wormhole drivers. We do not subcontract the last mile to a broker network, which is the whole reason the standard holds from Perth to Hobart.
- 01SydneyService area: Greater Sydney, Central Coast to Wollongong
- 02MelbourneService area: Greater Melbourne, Geelong to the Mornington Peninsula

Outside these boundaries we quote per postcode rather than turn the work away — ask and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth your money.
What comes with the routes

One standard in six cities
Same induction, same training, same pre-trip discipline whether the van is in Perth or Parramatta. National accounts stop needing a different conversation per state.
A service level in writing
Completion rate, on-time percentage and the escalation path, agreed before the first wave and reviewed every month against what actually happened.
A completion log every night
Delivered, attempted, returned and why — in your format, in your inbox, by 9pm local time. No portal login required to find out how the day went.
Proof of delivery that holds up
Photo, GPS stamp and timestamp on every drop, retained for twelve months, retrievable by tracking number within one business day.
Peak capacity that was planned in July
November to January volumes are contracted in winter, with rescue drivers and spare vans held back in every city for the weeks that break everyone else.
Insurance and compliance carried by us
Public liability, goods in transit, workers compensation and Chain of Responsibility obligations sit on our side of the contract, in every state we operate in.
How a new lane starts
Scope
You send weekly volumes, cities, postcodes, parcel profile and your required cut-off. We come back within two business days with capacity, depots and rate.
Trial fortnight
A limited lane at full service level so both sides see real numbers before anyone signs a term. Priced the same as the ongoing rate.
Go live
Routes, drivers and reporting locked in, with a named account manager and a weekly call for the first month.
Monthly review
Completion, on-time and exception trends against the agreed service level, broken down per city, plus what we are changing next month.
Who we carry for

Consumer parcels with a brand attached
Where a late or damaged delivery costs a review, not just a credit. Photo proof and same-day exception handling matter more than the last five cents of the rate.

The last leg of someone else’s line haul
We take the metro leg in every capital off linehaul operators who would rather not run their own vans, and report in the format your TMS already expects.

Overflow you would rather not hire for
Seasonal spikes, a city you cannot cover, or a fortnight you are short-staffed. Per-wave and per-week arrangements, no annual minimum.
Questions we get asked first
Do we have to use all six cities?
No. Plenty of clients run one city with us and their own fleet elsewhere. The rate is per city, so you are not subsidising coverage you do not use.
What is the minimum volume?
One full route a day in one city, which is roughly 120 to 160 metro parcels depending on postcode density. Below that you are better served by a courier aggregator and we will say so.
Are the drivers actually yours?
Yes, in all six cities. They are employed by Wormhole, drive Wormhole vans and work out of Wormhole depots. We do not subcontract the last mile.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Saturday in every city. Sunday runs during November and December, and by arrangement outside peak.
Can you integrate with our system?
We consume manifests as CSV, SFTP drop or API, and return completion data the same way. If you already have a TMS, we fit around it rather than asking you to log into ours.

Two ways to start
Send your volumes and postcodes
Weekly volumes, the cities and postcodes you need covered, and when you want to start. We come back with how much we can run, out of which depots, and the rate.
delivery@wormholeau.comShow us where your data lives today
The first call is an audit, not a pitch: which systems hold your route exports, scorecards, rosters, telematics and maintenance logs, and what state they are in. From that we scope a BI platform built around your data — not a template you have to bend to fit.
